Shit - now this thread was not what I thought it was about.....how disappointing. When riding was doing about 500km per weekend on the bike on one ride. Do the Coro-Loop etc, down to Tauranga, etc.

Then just mucking around on the other days. Put 21,000km on the VTR in the 18 months I owned it

I do 250 kms a week commuting and have averaged that much again almost every weekend since I've had the 400.In the last three week ends, though I've clocked up about 1000kms with the corromandel loop, a trip to Auckland and a couple of fangs over to Rotovegas.I dont drive our car much uness its for a club event to the track.

Last year the VFR750 was my only vehicle and did over 30,000Km in a year. Mix of commuting (worked as a nurse in Tauranga), rides and touring.

Had the CBR1000FL for 3 months and have eazily done over 5,000Km on it already. Use the Ute for work. Can't carry the Anvil and Hot-box on the bike, but have used the bike if I'm only trimming horses (get some interesting comments from the horse owners when I do). Use the bike for any long trips I make (usually Whangarei to Tauranga to catch-up with the BOP CC's). Mainly rides and touring (but have enjoyed the odd time around the track).

I do 350 Km each week commuting, and then on the weekends anywhere from 100 - 400Km. Fortunately the ride to and from work isan't in much traffic, living in Tauranga, and working on the otehr side of Te Puke.

Last year on my old Suzuki FXR 150 I did nearly 15,000Km. That includes about 3 weeks touring around the South Island on it. Since upgrading to my ZXR 400 I never really had the time to do a lot of touring. Now I'm upgrading to a ZX-9R I'm planning on doing a lot of touring.

About a 15 000 plus on the bike if I keep riding like I have been the last 2 and a half months (3500 km) . And about another ten in the car.

Have done 22,000kms in 9 months on the Monster. For two months of that time the bike stayed in the garage at weekends (flew to Ruapuna three times, took the car to a couple of other race meetings).
No commuting, all weekend pleasure/touring riding.

When I lived in Sydney I rode 37kms to school and back (74kms return) many days, as well as the the usual running around, plus the weekend trips to visit my mates, many of whom lived 500+kms from Sydney

Fair bit of commuting (Round 100kms a day 6 days a week) but then I dont care, I love taking the "long" way home.

For those that come down (or up) to Picton any time soon, look Stevo or myself up and go for a ride through the Queen Charlotte Track.
