I'm 75kg Toast but even with another 10kg on board I wouldn't expect to be able to make the forks bottom out if I tried. I think you're right, get the springs changed. Maybe some fat bugger before you ruined them. Good luck sorting the muffler, I'm no mechanic so can't offer any advice. I've got to say though that since I fitted the Micron to the 636 it's bloody fantastic. Top sound and just when I couldn't expect any better acceleration from a 636cc engine it's gone and raised the bar higher. Riding is bliss!
