No drive on the rear wheel means no wheelies! Can you handel the thought of that Death?

Unless if they made special wheelie rudders at the back of the jets... but my guess would be that it will be airborne very very quickly!

I'll be standing at the hairpin when you try for that 1.05,hope you're good at three point turns,I think the Y2K would be a better bet.

This rig looks like it has the "go" factor sorted. I'm a bit more worried about the "stop" factor.

yeah.. dunno how it would launch on a 1/4 mile but it'd have a pretty insane trap speed!!

Nah it wouldn't get around the corners and if you opened it up down the back straight it might be hard to stop it before it lands in Hamilton.

That shouldn't be a problem - the thing should reach takeoff speed about half way down and should clear the top of your head by about 20 metres

As for the 3 point turn comment - you did check that bike out didn't you. There is a block of 4x2 holding it up with the frame terminating about 2 feet from the centre line - it would have a max lean angle of about 5deg.....me thinks more like 18 point turn

The courners whould be easy to handle if you took them Super Motard style and kept the bike upright and put your foot out, lock the back wheel up and slide it around the hairpin.

Maybe no wheelies, but think of the rolling stoppie that you could do if you go it up. From the Bombay's to the bridge in one go

i have flown in a jet powered by one of these. they are unbelievably loud - no cold air fan and old technology. they produce enough thrust at idle to taxi a 1000kg aeroplane along, imagine if they only had to push themselves and some space framing!
there would have to be some serious heat shielding going on to stop your man spuds from being roasted......that's the hottest part of the engine about there. mmmm smell of jet A1 mmmmmm. would be hilarious watching the front bumper of the car behind you at the lights melting off though.

It should have a pretty good launch with so little wait the bike will be out of the gates like theres no tomorrow as for you still bein on the bike when it does that is a different story.
Those who dont learn from history, are doomed to repeat it.
