Best bike cleaner

I am going riding again with zeRax tomorrow, and am gonna get my sparkly, just cleaned bike all dirty again. Clay is a shit of thing to remove. What cleaners have you found that will strip shit off a blanket?.

Motorex bikewash or something similar and water blaster, the motorex stuff is realy good or buy truckwash from the service station this is what we use most of the time

One of the best I have found, but last I looked 500ml for $20 at Motomail has stopped me using it.

A cap of liquid Dynamo and about a half cap of simple green mixed in a 2litre spayer of water is what I use. Hose of bike initially, then spray on the mixture, leave it for ten minutes while you hose of your riding gear, then hose of bike. I usually go over it again with a bucket of the same type of mixture that the riding gear has had a presoak in and use a soft carwash brush and it comes up good.

I have a water blaster but never use it on the bikes - it is too harsh. I just squirt my bikes with a normal hose nozzle then wash them with a car wash brush and then use a sponge and soapy car wash. Clay softens up and isn't that hard to get off. What is worse is going on those muddy farm trail rides where you get all the long strands of grass stuck in your spokes and you have to pick them off by hand one by one.

I got a water blaster that has a spinning head that rotates at 4000 RPM, that rips all teh mud off. Water blasters are great, just don't get it near your piviot joints

Rty spraying silicone spray on the bits you don't want clay/cow-shit to stick to, makes it easier to get off when you get homes.

MAKE SURE you don't get any silicone on your tyres or brakes!!!

There is some stuff avaiable at KMart or Supacheap Auto called "CT18" which works well (it is a truck wash). It is about $30 for 5 litres of concentrate, and works best if you dilute it, spray it on the bike and leave it until it dries, then hose of with normal water pressure.

Yeah I've been told it's Caustic, so I don't leave it on for ages & it requires a decent spray bottle, but it's the best trick AT taught me for cleaning bikes, no wonder his are so clean!

I use my wife
