    aussie questions

    was talking to family today, and came across a question no one seemed to know, can dirtbikes be road registered in aussie? i presume they can be, and in a matter of interest,anyone know any good tracks in victoria?

    Strangely, a DR250 (Or similar) used to park across the road from my work with a Victoria plate.

    What it was doing on Willis St, Wellington, I have no idea.

    It had lights and such like. It was yellow and always nice and clean, which is why I took note of it.

    that is strange in wellington? lol very strange! wouldnt the cops pull it over if it had a victorian plate? hmm so obviously they can be road regestered lol

    I would have thought the only decent track in Victoria is the one heading to NSW............

    same rules as here - lights, indicators etc.
    Much good off road riding in the Victorian Alps.

    I've heard all dirt bikes need to registered in the land of Aus, to dirt ride in any off there public parks.
    Maybe this site will give up some answers

    If it is a public road or place - has to be registered.
    private property or track - doesn't have to be.

    thanks for the link SDU . so its basicly the same as over here BD? thats cool, i was hopeing it would be lolz
    plus i didnt know dirtbikers were aloud in the public parks.
    im hoping to get back over there and try a few of these places out, i reckon it would be fantastic! - once i aquire a db over there that is lol

    Hey DDW. I'm sure I can find out some bits of information from my Uncle when we hear from him next. My little second cousin is being trained up on the dirt bike and even taking on the little boys her age. Course she gets creamed, but shes extremely keen. Im sure they'd have some idea as to what good tracks are there etc etc.

    XxKiTtiExX- that would be cool, aw im sure she will start beating the boys soon ay! my little cousin is only 2 but he loves bikes, hes the cutest when he goes on the farm bikes, he sits infront and holds onto the tank lol
