    Sigh, that feels better now.
Hope the rest of you stay out of trouble.
    Shit! That's now 80?! I was doing {an undisclosed speed} down there only 3 hours ago. Not that it would matter losing my licence {not that my speed was to the point where I could've lost my licence } as the RG is going to be racified these holidays, but I could've got a rather nasty fine {if I had been travelling at an illegal speed}

OMFG that kind of patronising shit from a hillbilly would've been hard to swallow, even for an unconfrontational fellow like myself. Good on you for doing the wise thing and taking it in the rectum, not trying to enlighten the dim bugger, 'cos some holes in the head are just too deep to shine a light in to.

somethimes i hate it when they are right, but dam they could lose the attitude (I AM GOD AND I KNOW IT) when they are writing out a ticket.

If it makes you feel any better, I got my first speeding ticket on saturday on the ride up north.

I learned a couple of things from that:

    1) Don't speed on the nice flat clear straights with good visibility on SH1 near abouts Waipu (really common sense I guess ).

    2) If you see a speed camera van, stay slow for a considerable while after it as there may be a cop around the next bend.

    Funnily enough...

I only saw one HP today and I was being semi sensible at around 118 with a big bad black SS (or summat) commodore thing right up my jacksee so I pulled over and let her past... She pulled up beside me and suddenly buttoned off with a worried look .. As she fell back I saw all thechnology on the dashboard and guessed she had detected a radar / laser with all that crap! Ha ha! Missed me!

    Lucky boy

Soo how many got pinged today?

I got done on Bealey Ave here in chch by a camera facing towards the flow of traffic doing 64 in what i thought was definitly a 60.

But the wierd thing is, all i saw was the flash light thingy, no camera..?!.

Ahh well, im pretty sure it wouldnt have got a number plate even if there was a camera And if it did, it'll be a nice shot of me, pretending to scrath my 'helmet' with my middle finger

.produkt.... it will have been your headlight reflecting in a car centre mirror, they don't use flashes that often now... stumped me for a while that one.

edit: yeah saw a fuckload of pigs out last two days, of course doing the best to stop people spontaneously combusting at 10kmh over, and killing african love children etc

Bugger MD, you seem to have a points magnet somewhere on your bike. I was a raping baby killer and did 110 all the way up to Upper Hutt from Lower Hutt, but the rest of the traffic was going faster except for the Illusionworx Ute doing 80 and randomly changing lanes. Feels scary to try and even be legal, cos no one else is.

I didn't see any cops, but I had to get out of the way of a couple of motorcyclists (RG150 near Kaitoke, and satin blue ZX636 South side of Rimutakas) who obviously felt it was OK to pull out into oncoming traffic and stay there, as the oncoming traffic was a motorcyclist who would obviously think it was OK and get out of the way. Good thing I'm at the top of a mood swing and not the bottom of a trough, eh?

Where's the cop when you need one?
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

No no nc4r, was a plainwhite van parked up on the lowerend of bealey with a 10inch wide looking thingy on the back,
i somehow doubt it was my headlights reflecting off a can's center mirror lol
