    We did a bus trip wine tour out to the Barrossa and on the way up the "River" (?) Torens, I thought the road would be good on a bike so long as you don't meet a bus comming the other way.
    Some of those gums beside the road had abviously been there for ever.
    Speed signs appeared to be 80 approaching towns and throught the bendys but 110 most other bits.

    40 degrees would be a bit over the top in leathers would need to keep the air flowing past.

    At about 38 degrees upwards the wind effect is worse than the ambient temperature. My riding kit over there was almost non existent compared to here.
    I've ridden through Port Agusta/Iron Knob at 49c in the rain. 'Interesting' it was. Felt like lungs were full of water.

    Car owners were ofering to swap vehicles at the roadhouse.
