    Market Value for 1991 GSXR400

    Hey guys and gals

Just a quick question for those in the know. What is the market value for a 1991 GSXR 400 with 32000km and in fairly good condition. (Pic in profile)

Had a run in with Mr Plod today and the fine cost while supporting myself and a stundent, plus the uncertainty of my license means I may have to part with my pride and joy.

Cheers all, I may post up the story later.

I payed between $3500 and $4500 for it and I have sorted a few issues with it, done some engine work and replaced some bits and peices so I would hope for a wee bit more.

That doesn't sound too flash. Show us your tits I mean what happened?? And can you go down the $5/week path to pay a fine off?
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

its in rather mint condition ive have seen a few of these ranging from 3-5g
With fairly low ks and taking into account all the gsxr400s and there prices i would say its valued at 4 grand.Dont take anything less then 3.8.Then again if you market it well it is highly possible to get something in the visinity of 4.3 grand as ive seen one similar ks and condition go for that much.End result about 4grand to 4.3.Good luck

HAHAHA i feel like one of those dudes of antique road show.

    RAD bike btw

Well, my mate just sold his 1991 ZXR400, 39 000km, fairly tidy, got $3300 for it. I'd of thought if you got $3500 for your GSXR you'd be doing well, as the ZXR's are usually more sort after than the GSXR. Also 400's seem to be worth less than 250's, as most people go from a 250 to a 600.
Heres his ZXR on Trade Me http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/List...px?id=52770826

Sorry to hear that Sniper, hope you can sort things out without loosing your ride. Curious like the rest to hear details.
