On some TV program I saw a few months back, they ahd this US drag racer dude who lost it going 200+MPH down the dragstrip, and came off his bike. He skided along the ground so fast that his kneecaps were completely ground off.. Right through his substantial protective gear and all.. Lying on his back there was literally nothing sticking up from his leg at the knee, it was just flat. That put me off drag racing right there (they showed extremley graphic footage of it from the ER)
