My usual mates I ride with, were all busy or waiting for another motorbike.
With the weather forecast looking gloomy after Saturday afternnoon and for the rest of the weekend, I went for a fast blat out Clevedon, Kaiuau, to Mangatangi and back the same way.
No bikes heading north but as I was heading North from 12.30 to 1.30, I saw heaps of bikes heading South.
Anyone from here?
Roads were really dry except for a shower on the way back through Kawakawa bay.
Man, I love those roads and thoroughly enjoyed my ride but it's always so much more fun with a few other bikers aye?
What's the accepted signal for someone to stop on KB so you can get to ride with them, no matter what direction you are heading. I don't mind turning around again and going the same way to ride with a bunch of guys. Much better than riding alone I reckon.
But, no good if they aren't from KB and you do a U turn to follow them and they can't give a toss. Does happen, but I've met some good friends by just catching up and riding with them.
