    Don't jump to conclusions folks..

Those multistradas have been around for a while now and for all we know it could be an older one or a used import that was badly repaired. Much as I'm not a fan of Ducatis, this sounds pretty odd!

BTW I saw the bike proped up on the armco and I thought it had been in a shunt but could not understand how come the front wheel was still round and the forks bent back like that so i guess something did give way!

Nope, I haven't seen the bike or the incident, which is while I'll hold off on commenting.

What if that happened while if a big truck was coming the other way.

I am not happy with the construction of that piece of shit.

Unless you know the full facts of any incident, or affects you directly, it pays not to comment.
Well, if the Duke did just fold up and fall apart it REALLY is a piece of crap.

    It sure bloody did.

    Something was not right there.

The fact that it broke on a smooth turn is even weirder.

And even if you were to hit something at 50kph on a bike, you wouldnt expect it to snap the whole front of the frame off would you!!!

And then you would least expect the chrome fork tube to snap!!!

That would depend entirely on what caused it to "fold up and fall apart" whether it was manufacturing fault or previous accident damage?

From what i could gather the fella who ownrd the bike had it since new,Unlikely to be a bad repair.

Had a peek at the Multistrada

Right, had a look at the bike and I'm not convinced either way. I guess it's up to the Insurers on this one.

There is damage to the fork, wheel rim and the chassis where the front end pivots.

Hard to tell if something collapsed before impact, or all the damage was a result of the bike awesome 60-0 stopping effort when it hit what looks like a fence post.
Some things are worth dying for, living is one of them.

Shit, sounds like quite an eventful ride! And those new Dukes look like a two wheel super model too!
