He blasted off ahead around the twisties - caught R1 and went passed him. R1 pinned his machine and caught him, then this dude pulls away again, then he and R1 have an almighty race on until they hit the straights, then R1 on his R1 streaked away.

A damned impressive rider this guy was.

Incidently I slowed down at one stage when my radar detector went off, and almost everyone else except me (that I've spoken to) got pinged, some doing 150+, by an unmarked van (red Toyota).

R1 is currently saving hard to fix his bike, which appears to have some rather worrying noises coming from deep inside its guts. He's around. And no - somehow (...) he didn't get a ticket....

It's not the bike you ride it's the rider that rides.
just so we are clear on all the events that took place that day, I was riding like a nana waiting for that lot off the other bike forum, to catch up, I let him pass coz I was pissing my pants at how this nut on a B120 had passed all the "fast" bikes, and I wanted to see if he had any skills...He had skills alright and I would wheelie past him on each straight and the wave him past so I could watch some crazy(in a good way) riding....if you lot had keept up you could have watched

getting smoked by a B120 that would be like watching a jelly bike get around the corners. the skill factor in punting one of them hard would be high a true david & goliath event, GO the wee man
