Two Smokers back road riding... 26/04/06

    Hey everyone...

Back on a road bike today... Have pretty good control of the bike... Still cant tuck in behind the bike, but time and physio should fix that... Only doing short rides at the moment... can still hang off the bike, and with a more strength training should be able to hold onto the bike at speed...

    Cheers, Chris

ahem.... but it aint been 3 months and you know what Chloe threatened you with, if you rode before then...

Please take it easy mate... don't over do it...
If you start hurting then get the bike home and rest up...
Dont fuck up your racing career by getting back on the bike too early.

(I can say that, cos I recently have had to, learn that lesson the hard way myself after my accident)

Do some pool work too (Although you probably are). Good for resistance without hurting too much. And stretch. Good to be back on a bike but listen to how you're feeling (physically).

It won't be long before you're tearing it up again!

What is actually restricting you TS? What sort of injury did you do to your shoulder?

hehehe... Nah i cleared it with Chloe first, I then rode to her work on had lunch with her... Im definately going to be taking it easy, and only ride for about 20 mins at a time...

After surgery on my shoulder, they found that my rotator cuff was intact, but they was some muscle damage done to the rotator cuff... Biggest problem with my shoulder is that it needs to be stretched so i have full movement... Biggest problem of all is the nerve damage, which means i do not have full control of my deltoid muscle... aswell as numbness in my forearm and a weird feeling in my fingers...
