Used oil disposal in Welly?

The BP (I think) on Newlands Road used to take used oil. They have a big locked drum thing and you just go in and ask for the key and tip your old oil in. All free of charge - well it used to be!

Does anyone know where you can drop off a used girlfriend for disposal in wellington? I've got the old girl from the last 10 or 14 months sitting in a container downstairs but I want to get rid of her.

Protects the wood and killed the weeds at the base of the fence

The old station in Waring Taylor closed many moons ago. It was replaced with the earthquake-proof highrise in Victoria Street, on the reclaimed squishy bit by the Town Hall.

As for the oil... drop it off at a workshop on a sunday, works for me.
