Where would I get a set of mufflers, my local bike shop/Honda dealer, or buy direct from the maker.

Any local makers in NZ, and what price would I pay?

Excuse the dumb questions, but I've been away from the road scene for years.

Very nice bike ! Especially for 7K!! It,s exactly what I want, and I had seen it on Trade Me too. Small problem of still only being on an L plate.... Still, should have full licence by Christmas all going well. Good shit man!! hope you enjoy your new ride

Checked out those links, the Firestorm forum is very interesting.

    The ebay thingy scares me..

I think there was a post before on someone who takes the baffels out of the standard ones and re-welds them up. Can't remember who it was though.

Some more VTR stuff on here. I'm a bit dubiuos about releasing any more power using the spark plug mod he talks about. Might be wrong though.

    Fireblade fork upgrade

One of the early 'blades uses the same front brakes as the VTR. I wonder if you can use the same legs?

Yeah the link Old Guy put on has details on how to do it, they just bolt on pretty much, with some other Blade bits for the wheels and brakes. Finding a straight pair of the right age might be a bit of a hassel though.
