Red face Being a silly boy

Yip i got seen by the being a twit in the middle of Auckland City

Some guys in a car were staring at me, as were a few by-standers, my ego got the better of me and a pulled a pretty decent wheelie off from the lights at Pitt Street, where the motorway onramps/offramps are... there was heaps of clear road so i figured it was safe to do so, but i didnt see the cop car sitting one car back from the front row of the onramp.

So they came up behind me at the next set of lights and pulled me up, the guy kept asking me if the bike was mine, etc etc, quite a bit more than usual. Didnt get done though which was rather lucky. Got let of a warning to the words of 'just dont such stupid stuff in the middle of town'... the guy that spoke to me was all good, his friend driving the car had pretty stern face and looked as though he was gonna get out and give me a good whacking.

Oh well, that was my semi-brown pants moment for the day!

funny you should say that, i was actually in town looking for a bike shop that was open so i could get some new brake pads! My current ones are soaked in fork oil and ave shit all left in them which doesnt make for very good stopping, or stoppies.

Bugger dude, lucky you got off it. There seems to be some good cops out there at the moment.

    Well, sweetmothermaryjoseph... you were lucky!
I would have expected no less than a stern rogering at the side of the road (sans lube) for that kind of behaviour.
    Brown trousers indeed...
When you can't even get a ticket when you outright rile the police it must be asked "What does it take to get a lousy ticket these days???"
Just kidding, thank you Mr. Plod!
    Keep it rubber-side down...
