ya mean the fktard actually came on your side of the passing lanes from the other side of the road ...over a double yellow line I'm guessing?
here you go, borrow this and strap it onto your bike for the next time.

fk there are some complete retards around, maybe just maybe the truck drivers did see you and call it in...you can live in that hope I guess, glad you are still talking to us now about it

From memory, its not a double yellow line.. but thats no excuse at all.. pretty dangerious overtaking a truck with another truck oncoming with a passing lane.. there's normally a car behind it waiting to over take it! this guy in the car was a real plonker

Oh.. and yeah the machine gun might have help wake the plonker up.. I sure hope the few flashes I gave him stung his retina's... though I doubt it.

Cheers people for the comments... I'd say thats the closest I've been... (though in saying that, I wondering if I should tell my partner.. she'd have a ballistic rant I'm sure =)
It's a tricky one telling your partner about stuff. I have made a habit of doing so, if only to let her know that 99 times out of 100, incidents are not our fault. I always think that if something does happen to us, at least they know we are aware, on the watch and things are always going on around us and that if the worst should happen, its not likely to be our fault. Small comfort I know but some comfort at least.

I've stuffed up when riding, or should I say, my tyre or something real slippery had me off the road a couple of months back. No damage, just me badly winded. I did tell my missus. Just reckon it's best not to hide anything from them regarding our two wheel habits and it helps them to know you do everything possible to avoid a nasty situation. I am sure, others may share similar sentiments to this?

Yeah I agree with ya there Beyond... I actually gave her a txt telling her about it.. then when I got home this evening, I told the full story. She knows I ride and am observant.. and I've been telling her for quite some time that bike riders are generally more observant than car drivers.. because of all the obstacles they have to avoid and be aware of... she was concerned but was satisfied and very relieved that I handled the situation.

Sometimes a close call can bring us back to reality and slow us down. Luckly, it was ONLY a close call.
