    I LOVE an audience.

    If it wasn't for other people looking on, I wouldn't be so keen to undertake the venture I'm about to.

    However, when it turns pear shaped, you're either leaving with a bruised ego at best or in an ambulance at worst.

    I pulled into the carpark at Turangi at the end of the 92 or 93 1000 miler and started to lift my Darmah onto the centrestand only to have the seat come off in my hand and deposit the bike on the ground,they even got it on video!
