Are "tyre pandas" history for punctures ?

I have a new road bike with tubed tyres so my old puncture repair kit for tubeless tyres with plugs and screw on air canisters wont work. I`m having trouble finding an aerisol type foam reair kit like the old "tyre panda" that used to inflate the tube while blocking the puncture for a temporary repair.
Repco sell one but the first thing you read on the can is "not for tubed tyres"
Any advise out there ????????? Cheers

Is the Repco 1 'tyreweld'?? I have just purchased a repair kit from Cycletreads that does tubeless AND tubed tyres. Maybe check them out...

try a can of 'no more flats' i think its called.

be careful with the 'no more flats'. I used it and it ended up forming a glugy ball in the tyre which made a hell of a vibration.Also used a tyre pando type thing a few weeks ago-it didnt work either as the sealer stuff just came staight out the hole.

Install Slime in your tubes before you get a puncture

You're best off just to get 2 cups of premixed concrete and pour it inside the tyre before you put it on the rim. Ride around for about 2 hours immediately after you fit it to allow the concrete to spread around the inside of the tyre and harden.

After that you can even run over nails and they will just bounce right back out.

if you use it in tubed tires you gotta throw the tube out.. I think. No way to empty it.
Which is why you shouldn't use it in them.

You just scoop it out of a tubeless when you're patching it later

although somebody might correct me...

Had the contents of a pando in a tubed tyre for 7,000kms till the tyre was worn out a while back............

many years ago i had a flat on a Z1r just out of wanaka on a public holiday

had a panda and stuck it in and off i go arrived home in Dunedin the tyre goes flat in my driveway as i arrive.

Tried one in another flat, lasted 5 seconds. So 50/50 so far I guess.

don't use one if you value your health

had one suddenly fail in less than 5 miles, just not worth the risk

Surely you adjusted your pace to compensate for the fact that you had a temporary puncture repair that was designed only to get you to the next gas station and only if you were lucky?
