    coromandel road conditions

    Was goin to head up an do the Coro Loop tomorrow s I have a day off,
    Does anyone know if many of the roads have been affected since all the floods etc???

    went through on saturday just go left after kopu bride through thames and along the coast road to coromandal town me and swanny did it on saturday and was fine if you go that way

    Just as a point of interest, a guy I know did something stupid/dodgy on the nw mway ages ago and a (presumably) off duty cop pulled up in the lane next to him and held his badge up to the window while shaking his head. The guy reckons it gave him a good wakeup call. Could be a useful tip for next time you see something like that, D50.

    mark the best part of coromandel peninsula is after coromandel town... 'over the hill' (coro - whitianga) tends to top best marks from most people, and the short stint from there through back to Kopu is pretty good if you got a bit of power between your legs - The coast is just a warmup man

    Sucks that the road is all screwed up though, hopefully they will have it fixed by the time my bike has been serviced and all the rest of the shit it needs is done.
