Who here is a BRONZ member?

Just wondering how many KBers are also BRONZ members? It seems to me that this is the only organisation in NZ actually pursuing and standing up for bikers rights.

I was a member of BRONZ Otago (will rejoin), but mostly for the social aspect. They organise a shit hot rally in Alexander every Feb.

    Any views?

The Wellington branch closed through apathy, backbiting, and general stupidity.

The Auckland branch currently has no Chair due to dissension in the ranks.

I think Ulysesses would be a better lobby group than BRONZ.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

Don't know about you old fella, but I can't join You-sillys for quite a few years yet.

I'm only gonna join so I can be a junior member of an organisation. Probably my last chance.

Havn't got around to it yet. They have good articles in the KR bike mag. May be time to get serious about our rights ie lane splitting, still too much confusion out there as to what is allowed or not by the revenue gatherers and riders

Never been in BRONZ but showing my age I will be a real Ulyssian soon, having been a junior for almost a decade. Ulysses certainly have done good work with ACC to try and keep our levies down.

no bronz in tauranga, done enough work for uylsses tauranga for the past 4 years, do more than most of there members, that i am a offical member of tauranga club even tho there is another 15 years before i can join.

I go on the bronz toy run in auckland every year(apart from last year) for the past 9 years

But no clubs, we have enough of a club with just the family, 6 bikers, pretty much all on sports bikes

"Bikers' rights" starts with each of us individually. We have here at our fingertips a forum where issues that concern us are kicked around and discussed at length. We don't always agree but that's what democracy should be about. But I venture to suggest that we are a pretty representative sample of the universe that is New Zealand motorcyclists!

All that is required is a bit of presiding intellect to coordinate what KiwiBiker members think and make representations to decision-makers on our behalf.

    All power to us!

I second your nomination of yourself.

Agreed. Add another one to the "ayes"
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.
