    Steps.

    Woo hoo....

    Finally got all the electric bits working on the 1970 TR6C Triumph project.

    Need a new battery and the old ignition switch is poo'd and I'll have to reqire the coils for the Boyer but life has sparked in the old girls heart...

    Not much longer now my precious!!

    I never tried electronic ignition on a British bike - I thought twin points were bloody marvelous! If I had of kept the old Yamaha I would of gone for electronic ign.So how far along are you?...rolling chassis?

    Yup

    Chassis is definately rolling, frame and side covers and seat done, new tyres, new bushes, fork tubes every bearing etc etc. Now the electrics are pretty well sorted. NOS harness plus relays for the lights. Might upgrade the rectifier as well... Old one is ... well old....

    Engine is pretty well done...

    Just scored another tank and I'm going to paint it but I don't want the 'restored' look.. I'm thinking black... or gold and ivory, or blue or.. aarrgghh....

    I have a bit of shagging about with the pipes to do...
