    Suzuki GSXR 600 K6 - Wanna buy

Ok, am pretty taken with the GSXR600, K6, pictured below:

And, all going well will pop into Sportzone tomorrow and order one, (in black ).

So, before I sign away a bit of $$$ I'd really like to hear what you folks have to say about them. Owners, of K6's or earlier models, if you don't own one but have read/heard something, come one come all, I'd love to hear from you.

    Cheers, Aaron.

Them bikes are sure weapons and a with the new technology a good leap up from your 250..... Probably weighs less than your 250 as well..

I own a slightly older model and they are awesome machines ridden a k2 and a k3 and If I had the moola one would be in my gargre right now.

They are getting very good reviews and they all agree the handling is sharp as an arrow.
Check out this link, click Suzuki and the read the three reviews on the 600.

IV AN 750XK5 AND THINK ITS ONE OF THE BEST BIKES IVE EVER HAD , PREFUR MINE OVER THE HAYABUSA IVE GOT WITH A HANDFULL OF GO FAST BITS ON ITS ., IT FAR MORE RIDEABLE , ON THE AKORA GP ON SUNDAYS , ,ID TAKE A RIDE DOWN TO ASHBURTON AND TALK TO JEFF MARSHAL M/C AS WELL AND PLAY THEM OFF EACH OTHER , MIGHT GET A BETTER TRADE ,
AS SPORTZONE ALWAYS FINDS THINGS TO NITPICK ABOUT AND WILL OFFER YOU FU*K ALL , ID GET A 750 BUT SUZUKI NZ IS NOT IMPORTING THEM AS IVE HEARD , COS THE DEAM THE 750 MARKET DEAD IN NZ , COULD BE WRONG ??? BUT ID LOOK AT GETTING ONE OUT OVE OZE AS AT LEAST YOU WOULD HAVE A BIKE NOT EVERONE HAS ,
MINE HOLDS ITS OWN WITH THE 3 GSXR1000 & 2 BUSA I RIDE WITH AND EATS THE 999 , YOU JUST DONT HAVE THE LOW DOWN GRUNT , YOU NEED TO RING ITS NECK ALOT , GOES LIKE FU*K OVER 8-14000RPM

Thanks for the feedback guys, pretty positive stuff.

Excellent review site, cheers beyond wasn't aware of its existence. Three very good reviews IMO.

Yeah OrangeBack, what you say is consistent with the reviews, but it doesn't phase me. I cannot afford the 750, and as you say, there are none coming in this year unless pre ordered or I wait till September for the '07 models, but they'll be another $4-5k.

My only concern is that there are quite a few modifications to the bike over earlier models. Enough for some reviewers to say it's been totally redesigned, and I guess when it's got a new engine, exhaust, and various other odds and sods that's true.

Well I've seen or heard nothing tonight to dissuade me from the bike, so fingers crossed I could be upgrading in a few weeks

Good work Aaron, now you will have to come out for a few more rides.

Why is it a concern??? It's a good thing i say, the old bike was good, the new bike is simply stunning, i want one, but the 750, unbless they bring the K7 1000 out looking like that, then i'll get the 1000cc.

Go for it, buy the bike, and then let me ride it actully best not too i might not come back.

    Good news...

Got my name and some $$$ down on one of two black K6's coming in over the next couple of weeks.

Now... just need to organise that full licence

(Am in a foul mood after standing in line at the AA centre for 40 minutes with nothing to show for it. Gotta go back and book tomorrow )
