I mean at the coffee shop

Wont see you on the bike if youre always behind us locals and Sukie riders of course. Have thought about getting a couple of those KB stickers and put them on the side fairing. Not sure if they are still available though.

Welcome intense. Timaru hey. I lived in Winchester for a few years as a Kid. Man that's a winter in the deep south! Puddles would ice up- and stay that way for months, no thawing. You will find Wgtn warmer but maybe a tad windier. Don't rush out to get an umbrella unless it's titanium reinforced.
You wont have trouble finding KBers. Just follow your nose up the Hutt motorway and you will stumble on to the Rimutuka hill top carpark. From there most ride out to Martinborough or Gladstone or lake Ferry and there abouts.
The Chch Port Hills to Akaroa are better roads for scratching on though.

You won't regret the move. I have just returned to Wellington from living in the Hawkes Bay for 3 years. I hope to join a few rides in the very near future.

    Good move dude!

Welly is a pretty great city for a youngin like yourself. I'm sure you're gonna have a ball.
If you move into the City area, I'd service the bike at Sawyers. Their mechanics are switched on with the entire Honda range. They sell all the Honda models too.
If you move out the Hutt area, Try Motomart. They're Honda agents.

I can't talk though, I go to Dave Andersons in Masterton for all my services.

Are we going to see you around soon? We need need some more nice friendly local Wellington ladies to join in future rides. Love your profile photo.

OMG - Are you back from Aussie yet and have you made up your mind what you are going to be riding next ?? Really looking forward to seeing you on a ride. I have been thinking about going up to the Rimatukus and spending several hours going over and back several times to get some confidence in my riding with the new bike and tyres and the fact I have only been up them once in seven years. I think they are the perfect place to get to know exactly what your bike is capable of and to muck around with suspension settings for each run. Imagine spending half the day just doing that bloody gorge !!! Yes - only if its dry this time !! Read the report on the Welly ride - some of the other riders were blatting but had a few events but no spills thank god. Cheers all.

Yip back from Oz. Opinion is firmly in favour of the RF900, only problem is finding one - none in the Welly area. Bike is a write off, just waiting for the payment. Can't wait to get back on the road (and the Rimutakas).

Well we should go and break both bikes in and do as I was thinking about several circuits starting slowly and then off for a meal somewhere. Sure some of the other guys would make an effect and follow behind some of us 'back to bikes' riders and watch to see if we can improve our cornering tech's etc. Any one esle in ... Maximus? You could look at arranging a Rimutaka training day couldnt you?? Would be great fun for some of us smaller bike owners if we can hit the weather right. Imagine 2 hours of rimatukus...!?@?!?!?!!

There is an RF900 in at Sawyers on Vivian St.

Ring Barry New on 802 5127 and say that Jim Walsh sent you. If Barry isn't there ask for Brendan Keogh.

There is actually already a programme run by Uncle B if you are interested in contacting him to talk about it.

There is also a group of mentors available on KB. Ask Spankme, or any of the Mods for contact details.
