    If you have ridden motor cross bikes I'm guessing that you'll be heading down the 4 stroke line as opposed to two for the road. As much fun as the smokers are on dirt, on the road I'd stay well away from them particularly if its damp. All the best a finding whatever you are after anyway and welcome aboard.
    The tread goes around that far for a reason...

    Welcome to KB, you'll find lossa help and support here, dont be afraid to ask if you have any questions theres plenty of people that will help you out.

    And the rides are great, good chance to get some experience in and the bonus of putting names/nics to faces and getting to know people.

    And good luck with finding a bike, you will get something pretty reasonable in that price range. Im sure if you need someone to look at it before you buy there will be a few willing near you to do that.
