Now I know why they call Bandits hooligan bikes. Went up SH16 to Mangawhai today, haven't had this much fun for ages. The bloody thing just makes you take liberties, throwing it around like a fat dirt bike, I'm in love.
Even chased a sport bike through the twisties, but 160 km/h plus through a known cop haunt was a bit brave on his part.

600 Fazer`s like that,stuff all but the latest 600 Supersports in the mid-range where it`s most useful on the road and has R1 brakes that are superb,it`ll probably have to go pretty soon though because my self-control kind off goes out of the window and being a fellow old fart chasing Subarus at my age just aint dignified,usually get to way,way over the speed limit then they realise that you`re still right behind them and you can almost hear the farting noise as the ego deflates rapidly.Almost without fail they`ll pull off at the next turning after you`ve gone by.Dunno why people buy those crappy things with all the spoilers and shit,surely stuffing a sock down the front of your strides is a lot cheaper and no less convincing.New Fazer by the way is nowhere near as good as the old one,if you get the chance try one of those do it,not the best-selling bike in Europe for years for nothing.Shame they`re so bastard ugly.
