    Whats the difference?

is it the same frame as the 185's?

Doubt it. I had a TS125 in the early 70's & it was very different from the TS185's of the time
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

They are all similar. my cousin has one (muderotica) and they look the same to me. I had a 89 TF125 which looks the same as my cousins later model TS.

I have acquired TC125 you see... Its in bits

Just finished painting it, waiting for the paint to dry.

It needs a new engine (top and bottom end buggered - apparently, i havn't looked at it)

wondering what i could replace it with, or could/should i fix it? - I've got time and tools, and i can get the skills

Fix her up. I enjoyed riding my old TF125 Mudbug that me and my old man fully restored in our garage. it was a goo, educational project

The TC had a ho-low ratio gearbox. There is a lever on the motor to change ratios.

Also (from memory) the TC is a 4 speed box with Hi-Lo and the TS is a 5 speed box. I think that the TC is also slightly detuned and fractionally heavier. The TC was a farm bike whereas the TS was a trail bike.

I should have added that the only engines that will fit the TC125 frame is a TC125, TS125, TF125, TM125, RM125. I wouldn't like to ride a TC125 with an RM125 engine though, the handling would be.... um ...different.
