Crazy thing happened to me yesterday

Thought id let people hear this,Yesterday was doing my usual commute to palmerston from wanganui and just out of sanson i attempted to change down for the road works and pot holes and there was nothing there to change down with, and when i looked down my shifter had fallen right off and was dragging along the road kinda made me laugh and cry at the same time scared the bejesus outta me aswell. So i stopped up and found that the shfter had come lose from the bracket and was hanging on by the connection to the gear what a sight that was so i had to hand tighten it up myself. But during this time 6 bikers past me (4 hogs and 2 sports bikes) and didnt even bother to stop and help me,now im used to hog riders not waiving or even acknowledging me but fellow sports bikers not stopping either ,whats happening these days i thought bikers were meant to have a kinda fellowship and follow the unwritten biker rule or helping a fellow rider.Just thought id mention that to everyone .Chris

Some do and some dont....you got the 'some dont' ones...we once saw a group of Bikers stoped so we slowed and stoped also, seems one of them had put a bike through a fence but no injury, just a fucked bike, wich was left at a farm house. Now heres the clincher, SPman (John) was there, dont know if he was with the group...but his (new) bike rolled forward i think?, off its sidestand and did some damage ie: broken gear changer, the others geared up and fucked off..we stayed with John for a while to make sure he could rig up some way of changing gear...all we had was some cheesecloth (we dont carry golf clubs like DMNTD) he managed to at least get back out onto the main road with....we are the 'some do's.....

Keep the Karma going around - just make sure you stop when you think someone might need help and don't worry about those other f#ckers.

I've stopped for a look at a view and had a few different bikes stop to see if I was alright.

Oh, hang on. Get yourself some double D cups. That makes people stop and give you a HAND!!

    works for me

That's how I work. If I help someone when I can then one day, when I need help, hopefully someone will help me. Stink that you got ignored by fellow bikers, Hornet. Keep on building up those karma reserves and it'll come back to you eventually.

The reason I was given double D's is because a woman's breast must fit her husband's hands. IE more than a handful is a waste

Graeme is an extremely large bloke with big hands . . .

I had to giggle when one of G's 4th year apprentices was getting smart. G picked him up by the back of the shirt with one hand and shook him like a puppy.

Said apprentices behaviour improved markedly after that.

Were you working away reattaching your bit, or were you looking around and indicating you needed a bit of help? Who is going to stop and help some dude who's just fiddling with a bit, perfectly happy and needing no help? You need to indicate you need help and then people will stop.
    Whiner!

Jeez, yeah that's just rude. Throw things at them if they don't stop. Preferably the bit that just fell off. That'll show them!
