    weird

they have 8 un answered questions so far.
not marks but the tail section looks slightly different color from the tank.

id say it was in an accident previously, and it has just broken again. either bad weld or was never picked up after the first accident.
and when ya straighten a bike after a prang it usually weakens the frame slightly.

    its a weird one.

Looks to me like it's run wide at a corner and landed in a ditch - hence the lack of scratches. They've gone fast into it and the front wheel has planted into something soft, hence snapping it's neck.

I imagine the rider continued forward at some speed, and for some time. This would have sucked a *lot*.

Fuck $1800 for a buy now, thats a fucken bargin, if i still had my TL i'd snap it up, and with only 24,000km on the donk it's still a minter, you'd pay $1800 for a complete motor alone, i wouldn't be too fussed on fixing the frame rather get a new one, but if you got a TL already, buy this bike.

its screaming 'TRACK BIKE, TRACK BIKE' at me and im quietly replying "no fucking money!"

would be mint for a track bike, would probably be a total ass to get it back on the road and make a decent resale on it. Unless of course all the fairings etc are there still.

'andrew', the member selling said bike - a tardme member since 2003, no feedback, all those unanswered q's (he's obviously seen them for them to be posted on the auction)? why selling on someone's behalf? is it too hard to set up an account? dodgy.

Unless the bike was involved in an accident where the rider was killed or badly injured and the family want nothing to do with the bike? Long shot I know...

Bugger , am I going to be in trouble with the wife for buying that with her trademe account!
My TL is up to 78,000kms or thereabouts , this should provide enough spare parts to keep her going a while.
I need new cans and The spring unit, hopefully its got less wear on the disks a spare engine for parts will handy longterm.

Man am I in trouble though!

Bloody hell, I agree. Bit dodge. You'd have to fall pretty hard to do that. Hel's theory sounds about right though. If it killed someone it might be the behalf reason down to the ground. Trust someone in my crew to have a sensible answer eh?

Did you really buy it morepower?
