How bad is it? Is it repairable? - Once you've used the bits you want and left bits from your bike over.. etc

Very well , I think she sees it as the lesser of 2 evils , as I have been talking replacement (TLR's)

I guess if you find a frame , radiator, etc at the right price.possibly . not really worth it .
