When I got there, he asked if I bought the bike from someone called Gavin, I said no I got it from someone else. He then went on to say that the bike "should have been his" and he got some bad feedback on trademe, and because of this he was going to fuck with everyone associated with the bike and he wasn't going to sell me any parts!

Whatever he was on about - I have no idea, but it doesn't really sound like a good way to do business. How the fuck would i be supposed to know (and why should I care) what happened between this fuckwit and some other random dude in the past?

Now I could understand that if I fucked him over in the past then he'd not want to deal with me again. But to say that he won't deal with me because someone else sold a bike to someone who sold it to me and he got upset somewhere along the way strikes me as an attitude of a 4 year old.

I've checked out trademe and there is no bad feedback against buckets_n_bits that could have anything to do with this.

I've never dealt with buckets'n'bits before and after this, I never will again - it's not worth the abuse. It wasn't just the fact that he wouldn't sell me anything - it was the attitude.

So in the words of the man himself "Let everyone know I'm a cunt" (yes he said it) so here you go, I've done my bit and passed the message on.

So I'm still looking for a radiator that'll fit an RG. Anyone?

Badmouthing someone over a public internet forum is a bad move bro, might want to delete it eh....

With my experience, yep hes a c**t and ill never waist my time.

I hope he puts out such a bad rep, that no one buys from him, then he has to sell out to some COOL guy who is a good seller.

I've dealt with them a couple of times, found them kinda polite and a little slow on the service but nothing like what you copped.

Shit I didnt know customer service like that existed.

I'm a small business and I agree, we're all weirdos!

Normally I wouldn't. but it was Bryce that said it. He wanted people to know that if he gets fucked with (in his opinion) then he'll be a cunt back.

His perogative. He said to tell people. I'm over it - find the whole episode quite amusing now - I'll find the part elsewhere.

It's a public forum, he's free to respond, put across his side of the story and tell me I'm a cunt.

So if he's good to you, then fine. He was an arse to me.

There's other places I'd recommend, but I won't sully their names by mentioning them in this thread.

BTW kiwibiker is very theraputic. thanks people.

His problem shouldn't be his customers problem though (unless they are part of it) and from what I have read here he needs a re think on this one.
I don't think it is wrong to post this on here but perhaps a little improvement in decorum would help make the point better.

It might help but it's a good expressive word when your angry isn't it.
Mrs O/R can't understand why I use that word to describe an utter bastard when it has been the item I have most treasured all my life.
I guess it's a matter of emphasis and situation ethics. John.

Interesting how it's the one word that pisses women off more than any other, yet......

I'd be very surprised if somebody hasn't e-mailed a link to this thread to Bryce already. He's probably going to wish he just sold the bloody radiator & took the money.

My experiences with Buckets n Bits have been all good.

On my first visit I walked in there looking for a few parts to tidy up my rat. The owner (I presume this was Bryce) was very helpful, quickly diagnosed an electrical problem that I happened to mention, fixed it for me free of charge, told me he didn't have the other things I was looking for but gave me his current copy of Motorcycle Trader to take away in the hope I could find somebody else who was wrecking my model bike.

The second time I had seen something he had listed on tardme I was interested in, had a look at it, it was not what I wanted, he showed me a few alternative solutions and offered a few bits of advice that I found very helpful.

Over all I found him to be quite helpful and friendly, we shared a joke or two, and I would certainly go back without a second thought except that now I have sold the rat and bought an HD I don't really have a reason to.

That's a really good point, I started my own business for similar reasons, but to get someone to come out, then tell them I'd never do anything for them cos of another person doin me over.?
Dont think I'd go that far. I have said get fucked, but only because people want the whole world, for next to nothing.
