I say... Give it to Loosebruce, I have yet to see a bike that he hasnt blown up... Or ill have a go, im pretty good at crashing and ive blown up a TLR (aye speedmedic...or should i say NC now???)

But in all seriousness, take it to the track like Death said... Bring some spare levers and see who can put down the fastest time on it...
See Robert Taylor for any Ohlins requirements www.northwest.co.nz

My trashed my GN You could donate me the speedo, indicators, mirrors, mudgaurds, fuel tank (and if the engine is newer than 86) the engine, plus or minus a few bits and bobs. That is if you're feeling generous.

Otherwise, you could just lend me the bike for the day ... follow me with a camera and then a) you can see the bike getting written off b) provide light entainment for our fellow kb's. I gaurentee you, i'm so good, i managed to write mine off on a round about.

Later after the fire brigade had put the house & bike out, they traced the incident to a leaking fuel tap which had dripped directly onto the engine. They found the fuel tank 10 meters away in the garden turned inside out. Just glad he wasn't sitting on the bike when it went bang.
    Wow....

I'll be making double sure the new fuel tap I'm fitting this w/e doesn't leak, then. Unlike the old one.

    taupo

the GN has a history. it has been to the stunt wars, so take it to taupo.
take it to some rallys. paint it yellow and put the KB sticker on it. make a great promo bike. and then all we need are models.
or build a roll cage on the bike and take that for a spin.

My Missus did a fine job of her old GN by planting it (Must have been at least 150 Kph impact) into the front of a Nissan Skyline..! Surprisingly the Nissan didn't fare all that well either.
If you love it, let it go. If it comes back to you, you've just high-sided!

where opinion holds more weight than fact.

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.

As far as im aware gn250's have a top speed of around 4-5km/hr (down a hill with the wind behind you)
