MInd you it appears to be broken at the moment.

www.metservice.co.nz will give you an idea too.

    Thanks Jim.

What he said. Added to my favourites.
I use the metService site but they are slow at updating the rain radar. It's now 11.14am and they are still showing 9.00am all dry in Wgtn- yeah right, it's close to a flood!

I'm sick of those metservice fuckers goading me into taking my bike out. Sunny they said SUNNY!!! my arse. Fuckers couldn't predict the days of the week.

I can see what's coming from the south and it hasn't been pretty all day...

    I went up

with the Wellington organised trip but only to the top of the gorge and it was wet a lot of the way and bloody cold on the way back. Wasnt too keen in pushing too far and not sure if the rest of the crowd went all the way to Gladstone. I am still trying to thaw out with some red wine..... Still at last I have returned to the Rimatukus after years away. Must be getting old.. some of those corners deceived me a bit though the road was wet and I have new pirellies on so didnt want to risk being a hero.

well, some of us got lucky with the weather!

Left the Hutt at 9.45 - bit spitty up the motorway - the road was dry from the substation at Haywards. Went up the Kapiti Coast - sunny and dry right through to Palmy. Went for a wander round ANZA and then went across the Track to the Wairarapa.

The only rain we struck was at Eketahuna where is pissed down for about 5 minutes and then no more rain all the way home, although it must have rained through there because there was a lot of water at the side of the road.

Really cold through the Wairarapa though, should have stayed on the Kapiti side.

Not to rub your noses in it or anything!!!

    Hay Jeff...

Were you with the other group? Some of them were really fu@ked off with a group of riders which went exactly your way as they were suppose to go through the Rimatukas !!!!
