Then of course there's GSXF, GSF, and now GSR. And that's just the inline engines. There's also SV and TL for the V twins, and apparently some other designation for cruisrey type things.

My first bike was called a Bantam - I was always looking for a deeper meaning.
So was mine. Had a nice picture of a cock on the fuel tank.
