Ive got a 04 DR-Z400/E that I'd really like to have a workshop manual for. I know that they make them as I could get one from www.amazon.com However when I goto order one from the dealer, they tell me they cannot get one??? I'd purchase the seat from the dealer, although its likely to cost a pretty penny.
My rear seat (for my sprotbike) sits in the box that the cowl came in and before you ask I dont want to part with it and it comes from a superior make/model anyway
Good luck though eh, hope ya pop enjoys the bike, IMO the k3 is better.
Those who insist on perfect safety, don't have the balls to live in the real world.

    No worries. I've got one.

It's 25MB. Do you or him have high speed internet? Will take about 5 minutes to mail. Just drop me an email address, otherwise last resort, I can burn to CD and post out.

The K5/K6's were all released with the pillion seat in the package. If your dad purchased new then he only needs to go back to the shop and pickup the seat, they're oblieged to provide it. I've seen three K5's all with both seats.
My mate was picking up a K5 not long ago and the shop nearly forgot about the pillion seat.
Just out of interest, where does your dad live? and what colour bike? Is he a KB member?

    PM me back dude!

Inlinefour - IMO: The K5/K6 is the shiz. I rode a K3 and wasn't inspired to depart the SV1000S at all. The K5 had me leaping from the SV seat though.

where opinion holds more weight than fact.

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.
