cowpows - get a 01+ R1 throttle tube, they are about 25-30 from local yamaha dealer

and while at it just ya grips and your away.

Its a very common mode to be done, i am still trying to find some grips i like. so i can do it myself.

Its a simple mode, hardest part is adjusting the throttle cables to correctly (has to be down under tank)

Is it true that the Yamaha ones are a little bit too long, and you just need to cut the end off?
