The problem with a bike like the MV is that everyone seems to remember stories about them, you could destory 10 R1's on the Taka's but bin one MV and everyone knows about it.
Yep, Peter's F4 expired on the back straight of Pukekohe (I think it was December 2002) in the first couple of laps of practice for the Nationals. Conrod through the casing. The bike had been raced for many meetings with no problems whatsover, in fact he won the B Grade class of the Suzuki Series on it. MV came to the party and he got a very good deal on a new engine.
Matt's right, you don't tend to hear the stories about the "common" bikes (no offence meant to anyone with that comment - apologies in advance if I have offended).
Being frustrated is disagreeable.
But the real disasters in life begin when you get what you want.
