I'm 6'2" and I've been riding a 250 Magna for a couple of years. It's not the quickest machine around but if it's just short term and you want it for commuting then it's great. It looks good and it's pretty fuel friendly too. It's pretty good comfortwise, too, if you want to travel between cities- I rode mine from Madrid to Amsterdam over two days and was still able to party when I got there.

    Anway, been looking at getting a first bike. Don't won't a GN250 btw :P

Keen on a 250 cruiser to get to and from work but they all seem to have very low seat heights.

Seen mention of 5ft nothing people find Virago's comfortable which I guess means I would find it cramped. Shame that.

Are there any tall guys or girls out there on a 250 cruiser?
I think you'd feel pretty small on my bike as the height is 700mm and my height is 5"6" and my feet are just flat on the road.

I'm 6ft, 95/100kgs and got myself a Intruder 250cc V Twin Suzuki. Really enjoying riding it, turns a few heads and invariably I get asked questions about it when I park it up in the city

That honda Magna is the only other bike I have seen Cruiser style that I think has it over the intruder in the looks dept. Its got some good lines that bike.

All these people and no one has mentioned the Honda Magna VT250C???

It is a 250 v-twin in a large frame, bags of torque and will cruise at 140. Better looking than any other 250 cruiser as well.

Hi folks, just joined on to this.So here goes. I am 6ft 2, never ridden in my life, I have just bought a virago 250. (Mid life crisis). My target was a Cruiser so targeted the Virago. I am 95kgs and although my legs do fold abit. not quite straight I have found the bike a dream to ride. I love my baby. Making it easier for me was that this is my first bike so really dont know any different anyway!!!!:

    Red face magna and hyosung...

    hey every one...
I am 6.2'' ..I have got a 94 magna.. and before I did took a test drive of an aquila 250.. aquila's are decent bikes but magna is totally more stylish than hyosung.. they are longer than aquila and about same height as aquila. sounds better than aquila and look more manly then them as well... hope it helps...
but then hey!! its my thinking ..
    thanks..
Aslo if anyone can help me where to find the slash cut straight exhaust pipes for magna????

Putting slash cuts of any form on a 250 Magna will greatly reduce the top speed, even if you are running fairly restrictive baffling.

You can't "find" some for a 250 Magna. You can only make some. The header pipe goes under the bike and stops there. The stock muffler comes out at an angle. If you want straight slash cuts, you will need to build them. Either a full set, or short slip ons.

I had a Honda VT250C and no way would it cruise at 140! like one post said. They are beautifully built but heavy for a 250, my choice would be the Hyosung or what about a Bandit 250 and change the bars.
