It's bucketing down in the big Welly at the moment. I've got my gear spread out around my office space slowly dripping onto the carpet.
The gloves are sitting near to the PC drying gently, and I've just wiped down the helmet (careful).
Just wondered if anyone in NZ managed to ride to work in the dry this morning?

If you have a CRT monitor put the gloves on top of that. Dries them out nicely, and if it drips inside and shorts you'll get a nice LCD replacement.

hahahahaha! Starting wprk early (7) has its advantages... I rode form Hataitai to town in more of a drizzle than anything, my gloves hardly got wet nor did my waterproof pants!Wouldnt want to be out there now though...

Go to Keinzley Agvet and spend $25 on a pair of over trou and a parka. The hood of the parka folds away into the collar. I got to work this morning dry and got wetter taking my riding gear off than riding to work.

It's not quite wet enough - soon though. I'm starting to collect 2 of everything - so far I've got 2 donuts....

Yeah I can relate.
Something handy I have found with the RF (and probably works with otyer big, fully faired bikes)... after you get home, plop your sodden gloves in that gap at the top of the forks (where the gaps in the fairing is)
The latent heat from the engine dries them as the motor cools, and it avoids those little leather dye stains on whatever you would have put them on/in front of.
It's also not so harsh to heat them and dry them crispy...
