Well there are some real interesting comments and thoughts on this one, Jandals could be a good goer, at least they would be quick to dry out. A bit of skin hardening with riding should make me feet as tough as leather uh.

That's because you have not seen the MX Special Edition Jandal - makes simple work of ditch riding.

No, and a few of the textile jkts have gone already.
But there are some kermit green gloves for Quacka riders and rather fetching yellow ones for Spewzooks and R1's.

I've never been impressed with Sidi's. Oxtar seem better made and Stylmartin seem to fit a wider range of people.

If you want something waterproof and comfy, go for StylMartin. I have awful feet - flat and wide(ish) and the StylMartins were comfy from the outset. I've had them 3 or 4 years, wear them nearly every day, and have even crash-tested them. The plastic ankle cups (both sides, unlike most boots) protected my ankle from harm when I wrote my VFR750 off, and the only damage to the boot was a scuff on the toe which some shoe polish fixed. Other features are they are all leather, have an insole which has activated carbon in, so they don't get stinky, reflectors (patches on the heel, and kewl flexible inserts that look black but are reflective), non-slip rubber soles, adjustable velcro fasteners BOTH sides of the boot, padded shin protection, and stiff toes and heel for protection (I think they have plastic cups under the leather).
They're good to walk in, not too hot in summer (because of the leather) and warm in winter (have padded lining).

I agree with wot Vifferman says I have got stylmartin stylsafe Cost $449 but they are top quality black colour with none of the poesie brightly coloured plastic bits

Hey I got these coming in this week, all sizes, I know they are not top of the range but they are a good base model boot with extras, ie toe sliders and good hard armour bits
