Hi Maximusdemeritus. Spent and hour and a half figure eighting up the brothers tar seal and was a good feeling. Also taking it slow with clutch and back brake on very slow turns. Held balance reasonably well foot down a few times, ah dang, but was able to get away smoothly. Then did some shifts to 2nd and emergency braking. When it was time to head home about a kilometre, had brother bring up the rear in his cage. Of course would have liked to have got out today but way too wet. I don't know whether it was the new gear or me with all the excitement but by the time I got the riding gear off I was ringing wet in persperation. Had a good first session.
