    sellers beware!

    hey guys update from my last thread (international buyers (http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/sh...d.php?t=28934))
    indeed it was a scam i look up all the information on the buyer and it all came back legite he was happy to wait till the cheque cleared etc one thing he stuffed up on he gave some one else the same cheque and they were both banked at the same bank!
    western money transfer's are the only way to go!
    any one selling your bike on trade me be very careful!! and what ever you do don't give out your bike till you got the money (frauded cheques can still bite you after they have been cleared) if your unsure talk to your banks fraud department! luckily i came away un scaved!!

    Very easy to ask;
    "If the you require me to pay the shipping by money transfer surely you are able to arrange payment for the goods in the same manner - money transfer?"

    don't be a fucking idiot, they are scams, there is no point asking stupid questions like that, just delete them, the only things that can happen are you either waste some of their time by playing along with them, just ignore them, or you get ripped off
    there is no way you will get their money
    and if you do piss them off enough, and you've been stupid enough to provide any personal details, and this is documented! they may just attempt to follow through on those death threats, remember these guys are criminals, looking to scam a global audience, i can't remember exactly what the article i read said, i think most of it was about nigerian gangs etc. being into this sort of thing, it isn't just some geek behind a computer spamming a few people to try and make a few dollars, so make correspondence with them at your own risk, but do not give any personal details, and definitely do NOT try to make a transaction with them

    So you're saying there's something wrong with asking a question?
