    Question Winter Glubs

With this lovely D'Auckland weather we're having today (liquid sunshine, which made the VTR misfire badly), it made me think once more about getting some decent winter gloves. I've currently got several pairs of gloves (5, I think) but prefer to wear my Spidi Pro-1 gloves all year round, except when it's raining. I did buy a pair of Orina waterproof ones, but the feckin things came apart at the seams, rendering them no longer waterproof. Besides, I hate gloves with padded palms/fingers, as they make my hands hurt, so when it rains I wear my old summer AGVs, which while not waterproof, at least protect my hands, and it doesn't matter if they get shagged.

So has anyone found some gloves which are (a) waterproof, (b) not too thick [I'd rather have cold fingers than fat ones], and (c) have reasonable crash protection (just in case the FahrtSturm turns out to be lazy like the VFR)??
So note that (c) rules out dishwashing glubs, smarties!
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

Since you didn't mention cost I assume you don't mind paying lots.

Only comment I can make is that my Spidi H2OUT gloves are comfy, have stayed waterproof for the last year, protected my ickle fingers nicely in three bins, and only cost $160. They might be a bit bulky for your tastes though.

Oh - I forgot to mention an important consideration - they must look kewl. Oh - and they mustn't clash with my bike or gear (like my current ones do - see the pic in my profile).

Cost? Pffft. The Pro-1s were $189, and they're hardly a glove at all. More sort of glorified skin, with Kevlar and such.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

Tecknic Thunder - they range between $90-$120 and are actually waterproof. I heat the oven to 100C, turn it off, put the gloves in for 15 minutes, take one out and coat it in snoseal. Extra-Waterproofed for winter! They also have a little wiper blade on the outside of the index finger for clearing your visor. They are leather, black, and have lots of groovy pads.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

just bought some spyke thunder gloves from mount eden that would fit your description exactly. About $145. get in now before they run out as I don't think the follow up spyke glove is as good. I used to have spidis Hypers (a bit bulkier) before they blew out of my bag and these seem to be up to the same standard for a whole lot less cash (tonights ride home might proove or disprove that tho!)

Teknic Freeway, waterproof summer glove. Good feel, reasonably warm. Kept my hands dry for at least 1/2 hour in constant rain. About $100
