    Nice bike quasi

Just remember even though it is red, it doesn't make it faster.

want to put some K's on it on the weekend?

    Hiya Matee
Was looking at my bike on the weekend still with only 2K on the clock. Weather looks good for the weekend - feel like a blast around the eastcape?
Sat down the gorge then up to Hicks bay for a nite on the piss then home Sunday?

Just took the bike into VTNZ to get the plates swapped over so the 999 is blessed with QUASI on the back.
I spotted the QUASiMOTO car driven by Mrs Quasi and thought I would be a smart prick, I came up behind her in first (slow bit of road) and pulled out and Nailed it, well fuck me the front went up rather fastly, if ya know how I ride I prefer the front down, but it was kinda fun though. This is actually the first litre bike Ive ever owned...... think I might have to pull me head in and get used to the awesome power of this thing

mmmm Maybe I guess its down to what you do to it, I think the 999 is quite capable of going faster than a gsx should you throw enough stuff at it, WSB as an example.
Besides I dont ride super fast on any public road, not for long anyway, Im Mr 120kmph tops usually, I dont get my kicks going blindly fast, I get my kicks from handling, style, general feel, and cornering performance.
Having riden the 999 for a few hundred kms I can tell you categorically it aint by any means a slow bike. You need to remember also that it delivers power differently to a 4 cylinder bike as well, it has masses of torque.
And I dont want to start a Suzuki Vs Ducati battle but sorry I cant get the same passion for a gsx as I can for a 999, kinda like comparing a toyota supra to a ferrari marenello, ok the worked Supra might be quicker but its a toyota (I beat Im going to get heaps for that fuck it bring it on)

Took your advise Winja, getting Michellins on Friday cheers dude.

THE 999S IN BSB OR WSB HAVE THROW AWAY ENGINES, EVEN THE CASES ARE THROWN AFTER A FEW RACES , WHEREAS THE JAP BIKES ARE STREETABLE AFTER A SEASON WITH JUST A CAM CHANGE YOUR BIKE WILL NEVER COMPETE WITH A JAP BIKE FOR POWER I THINK YOULL FIND YOUR BIKE HAS AN ADVANTAGE OVER THE JAP 4S IN THE RAIN OR ON ROADS WITH SHIT GRIP WHICH IS A BIG ADVANTAGE IN REAL LIFE, BUT THERES NO NEED TO DEFEND YOUR CHOICE OF BIKE QUASI ITS A GREAT BIKE THAT LOOKS BETTER THAN ANYTHING JAPANESE AND IT WILL HOLD ITS VALUE , ID HAVE EXACTLY WHAT YOU HAVE AND IM A JAPPA FAN

Still like the 851 / 888 / 916 style better . Would like to see how one of these would go been Kaned the living shit out of it to an inch of its life for 2 weeks nonstop & doing the same to a GSXR / ZX10 & see what happens . Having owned 2 Ducatis & know how they react to been trashed , the more you hurt them the fast you tune them . Nice looking dude but if a Twin was going to be my ride it would be an RSVR Factory have seen one from here crashed raced & hurt every day since it was brought , still going hard ! Looks like shit but still rocking the Naki roads . My opinion tho based on been there done that Shit !

Very Nice Quasi, I am sure you will enjoy it and the looks of envy and the knockers who are just that........

    Congratulations Quasi
To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods
