    Piekok Hill Road

    I went over piekok hill today about 4.30, met a reddish colour bike on one corner, was it any one from here?, just wanting to know your thoughts? Sheep on the Road when i came back over about 6pm.

    I read in the local paper they've passed a ruling that the Kapiti side of the hill will now be 70kph as well as the town side... Sigh... Rimutakas next...

    was not me im black and silver but that hills gone crap since they droped the speed limit on it got to find new places to ride.
    and the last time i went over moonshne road just about killed a cow with my bike so no more that road.
    and other hills you guys know about
    Give it heaps buy a R1

    Yep, that was me & rfc85 on the mighty Intruder. I would have stopped to say hi but I could see you & the fag were busy. Noisy huh? good thing I'm deaf then innit?

    i'm not sure what type of bike it was, i was just wanting to ask for the end of my throttle grip back, nah only joking, it wasnt that close, I dont think i'll use that road in the dark anymore though, my headlights about as bright as a candle, i couldnt see the debri untill i was on it, and then the loose sheep,for a brief moment i thought it was gonna run in front of me, i can see why the recommended speed limits been lowered

    Yep, She's a hairy road in the dark. Must be a few tons of gravel up on the ridges waiting to come down in the next decent rain still. I have too much fun on Gray's road to make the Paekak a regular choice anyways.

    hi u guy's in wellington, i use to live on that road a few yr's back, i came a cropper when i did'nt realise they had just sealed it, it must be getting worse with sheep on the road

    Dude - stick some relays on that light! You won't believe how much brighter they can be and how much longer your switchgear will last...
