I also hear good reports of Pilot Powers, in riding on Diablo Corsa's and to be honest they are a bit nasty in the wet but hang on very well when dry.

It would be nice to know how and when they ride first.
What's great on a dry country road may not be so great on diesel covered tar snakes on a freezing wet morning.

True that may be but I use my gixxer for the daily commute in every weather and they are still bloody good tyres. The BT-014s were probably a bit better round town when it was real shitty but not much difference.

Good point Lou, and even the difference between the wet open road and in the city.....
I'd run wif the powers, 'cause Loosebruce reckons they're good and he's by far the fastest wet weather rider I've ridden with.....
My own experience the older AV49's are fucken brilliant in the rain, I could pull wheelies even when pissing down....and of course the 218's were pretty good too.

True, LB does push them to the limit. And a guy at work did the 300 km race on Powers including the wet laps and he said they were the mutts nuts.
