[QUOTE=Colapop]It's kinda ironic that depending on, maybe, who you are or how "cool" what you did was, the reaction on here is sometimes very supportive bordering on hero worship or completely the opposite!

For those who mention that doing "bad stuff" and getting flamed/clapped on the back on it depends on how cool you are, I dont really think so for the most part.

Most of us go a bit faster than the speed limit says, some of us go alot faster than the speed limit says, but I know very few on here who'd go such high speeds in a 50k zone. I think thats why this guys getting flamed and he bloody well should too, and so should anyone else who brags about getting away with doing 130 in a 50km zone, becuse thats the retarded behaviour that gives all of us a bad name, and makes Mr Plod hand out 61 in a 50 tickets to every bike he sees.

Hope the cops nail your sorry arse to the wall Mr race me.

The behaviour of the police seems very out of character, and your speed was not cool, just for the record.

Wot they all said! Seriously, though, I guess the reactions here have given you something to think about. That's what is so good about a site like this, we get many different perspectives and views of things and the hopefully happy result is that we learn and become more thoughtful and better riders and ambassadors for biking. Take everything in the spirit in which it is given.

I'm throughly disgusted reading this thread.

This is clearly a case of the p*(@# harassing a citizen and even if he was the guy they were looking for, it still does not excuse them of the swearing and pushing, and some are saying that maybe he shouldn't have been going so fast??? Ummmmm priorities anyone?

I'm going to make sure I keep my bloody voice recorder and carry it on me at all times, and believe me, it will be on everytime I smell bacon to catch every bit of the uneducated idiocy that comes out of their mouth.

(Ohhhh that's a pretty cool earthquake going on right now.)
I have deep pockets. It's just that it's a deep empty pocket...........

    Petrified, no really

Doing 130kmh in a 50kmh residential street is stupid, doing it down your own street even more so. Buy the guy they mistook you for a beer, cos that would be an easy 1k+ fine and long disqualification.
