    Cool Cops are funny coz...

the other night i decided to speed a bit down my favorite road which is just b4 my house.
so i "hurtled along" prob bout *removed* not noticing a cop car coming the other way.
i turned down my street wheelied up my drive way and pulled off my helmet to be met by two charming police officers telling me "to get the fu&$ off my bike and put my helmet on the ground" as soon as i stepped off my bike cop no1 started pushing me round asking me why i was running from them? then cop no2 says oh fuc% you again! and got quite agressive trying to get me on the ground
then ping on turns my outside security lights and he saw i wasnt the guy he was thinking of so i calmly explained he couldnt have known me bcos i havnt even been arrested before!
so he apoligises profusley and takes my lisence into the car to check up on me! all the while cop no 1 had gone inside to ask the people inside if i lived at that adress which of corse i did! cop no2 came back and said sweet never heard of you until now!
then cop no1 says "going a bit fast wernt you i reckon you were doing well over 100 k" cop no2 goes "yeah i reckon bout 140" so i asked did you pace check me? both cops say no! so i asked did you have your radar on? both say no! so i calmly thanked them for their time and turn to walk away! they both said oi!
i turn around and am presented with a 65 in a 50 ticket
thanking my lucky stars i take it and go inside hands shaking
they could of taken my lisence and my bike!

morale of the story look b4 you speed lol

I've noticed that failing to stop is something they tend to take personally. Probably detracts from their feeling of superiority and immense power.

Be nice to coppers and (sometimes) they will be nice back.

Lucky yes, but probably also stupid for posting this on here.

You people forget that coppers read these forums, and I'd be surprised if the guys that stopped you don't hear about your bragging.

Just be prepared to be watched a little more closely in future.

I wish i was cool like you....

How about moral of the story "Dont speed in a 50kmh area, just leave it for the deserted back roads where you can only take yourself and a cow out, rather than yourself a kid???"

    I think thats just great.

Why dont I copy/paste your confession into the police feedback form saying - hey, you know that kid you stopped but couldn't ticket? Well he's been bragging about doing 130 in a 50. Is a confession enough for a bigger ticket?

    Real smart buddy.

dont think it would happen? check this out http://www.stuff.co.nz/stuff/0,2106,3449158a10,00.html

Sif, its a bit differnt from photographic evidence and I doubt that the coppas will find out/ care. I'd never do that but as I SMOKE P AND SELL DRUGS TO LITTLE KIDDIES im super paranoid about cops reading what I type then hacking the mainframe and downloading the matrix.
Then I could get a Kb Tshirt, move to Timaru and become a full time crossdressing faggot

130 in a 50? I'm guessing there's mitigating factors to being able to do that in a way that you would term "safe" and "worthwhile". I'm not throwing stones, I'd just like you to elaborate on how 130 in a 50 was safe this time.

Unless of course it was a 100 zone which then went down to a 50 where you were doing a lot less than 130, and you're thinking the "runner" could have cost you your license.

It's kinda ironic that depending on, maybe, who you are or how "cool" what you did was, the reaction on here is sometimes very supportive bordering on hero worship or completely the opposite!
I don't support what this rider has done, but neither do I completely believe everything posted here either. 130 in a 50? If the police had seen that they'd be alot more vehement in "getting their man". I think maybe there's been a little exageration and a little overreaction to it in this thread...

whether the events are true or not. its still a post on KB from a registered kiwibiker.

we complain about cops being too hard on us without reason in one thread then joke about how we got away with it in another.

just doesnt add anything positive to the kb image.
    gone.

It is true about circumstances and "KB persona" playing a role in the reaction. But even if it is an exageration, he could have at least spiced it up a bit? I mean, he could have claimed he saw the cop and did a runner deliberately. 130 in a 50 with the law in tow is hardly anything to get excited about.

When you get a dog and beat it to teach it something it doesn't learn and won't do the job you want it to. But if you encourage it and positively reinforce the good things it does then you'll have a much better friend.

    The same applies to people.
