while coming home over Paeka Hill Rd from Wgtn today I caught up to a cop car who pulled over and let me pass.I only travel at a moderate pace these days over the hill.i also saw a cop on the way in to Wgtn (Over the hill road) but he was going the over way.The Biker in blue leather would have caught him.

on a tight, twisty road like that, in the interests of safety for fellow riders I would ride the left wheel track of the lane to allow them to pass within the lane.
We all like it when cagers move left for us...

Hold my line in a corner, but if there's a straight where the guy behind can pass I pull over to the left (usually remember to indicate before slowing) and let him/her through.

I have no problems whatsoever with people passing me (safely).

    Being frustrated is disagreeable.

Most bikers I've passed, let you past then accelerate to keep up. (We're all competetive sods, aren't we?) Him slowing was probably because he thought you were going to pass him too. But I hate it when other drivers try and 2nd guess you. They should just maintain speed and position and let the overtaker decide what he's doing.
Unless there's an oncomoing vehicle, then it's brakes on and look for a soft landing place.

I always let the quick guys go through and either hang left or run a wide line on corners to let them have the quicker road line. In the words of the song:

What about that time you held me up at the Ohakune GP by lying down in front of me & I had to do a cartwheel over you to pass?

I always pull over for anyone in that much of a hurry, most do for me so fair enough. The ones that really hack me off are the guys who you rell in slowly but surely because you`re going say 10% faster than them. Both of you are just cruising along quite happily, you eventually overtake them and suddenly their cruising speed isn`t good enough, you`ve apparently insulted their manhood and the twats have to nail you at some ludicrous speed to get back in front.I overtook a guy on a Triumph last year in those circumstances,I got between him and a line of 3 cars coming up to a village. He nearly killed himself screaming past me then realising he was going too fast to avoid hitting the car in front and had to take all 4 of us,wrong side of the road for about 100 metres and went into the village at about 3 times the speed limit all over the place as he`d obviously frightened the crap out of himself.Anything coming the other way couldn`t have missed him and if the Police had seen him riding like that and/or just clocked the speed through a built-up area he`d have lost his licence, sad bastard, all for a percieved ego dent.I didnt do anything, just overtook someone who`d been riding slower than me for a considerable distance, sad bastard.
