Not really a bike but cool nonetheless.

Nothing new. Just a gyro-copter (think that's how ya spell it), not a "flying motorcycle" for f*ck sake. These are as old as the hills. Just an un-powered helicopter blade that free spins with a propeller push it along. Dad always told me how unsafe these things were. I doult Land & Transport would allow ya to "drive/fly" one of these down the road any more than they would let a mirco-light to do so.

I know that, but some would find it interesting remeber seeing a guy out at ardmore giving a demo on a gyro-copter still impressive, would be no more dangerous that a motorcycle.

Depends on the pilot/rider. It's a long way down if ya f*ck-up flying, at least the bike is usually still on the ground when ya f*ck-up.

    Gyrocopter

Very exciting machines but boy I have seen some doozy cockups made with some of them.
Watched a friend attempt hari kari with one on several occasions. (Janta might know him)
That one looks quite a good design though.
Interesting clip, hardly a motor bike though.

Never seen one before, have I lead a sheltered life? Totally cool device, want one. Problem being, what licence do you get to run the damn thing?

Yeh, but you have a lot longer to correct a f'up when you are in the air...

or a lot longer to think about the total f'up you just made before you make like a pancake.

Commentator: "The top a kind of helicopter, the bottom a three-wheeled motorcycle."

    Excuse me? A three-wheeled motorcycle?

"The top a kind of helicopter, the bottom a robin reliant," I would say.

I remember seeing one of these in MadMax as a kid and thinking they looked fun.
